Complex organic molecules formation in cold cores on stochastically heated grains

We investigate the roles of stochastic grain heating in formation complex organic molecules (COMs) cold cores, where COMs have been detected. Two different types grain-size distributions are used chemical models. The first one is MRN distribution, and second considers coagulation to study its effects on evolution these environments. macroscopic Monte Carlo method perform two-phase model simulations. find that (1) can affect certain gas-phase species, such as CO$_2$ N$_2$H$^+$, core environments, which be attributed volatile precursors originating from small grains with temperature fluctuations; (2) radii around 4.6 $\times$ 10$^{-3}$ $\mu$m contribute most production dust under conditions, while few species formed even smaller less than 2 $\mu$m; (3) stochastically heated could help explain observed abundances cores.
